Who Is Jesse Oliver?
Outside of work, the things that inspire my creativity probably won’t surprise you once you see my style. I’ve always been drawn to heavy metal music, old horror films, media, and anything that feels raw, bold, and different. I love art that takes risks, art that doesn’t ask for permission to exist. I never got into media to blend in. I got into it to create something uniquely my own.
I love producing visuals that capture who someone truly is and how they interact with the world around them. My goal has always been to serve people the way I would want to be served: with creativity, authenticity, and intention. Because at the end of the day, there’s only one version of you, and that’s the version worth capturing.
About Me
I’ve been fascinated by the power of media since I was a kid. Growing up, I practically lived in a movie theater, and spent most of my time outside of school consumed by movies, music, and art. At 11 years old, I learned how to customize sneakers, and I decided to start selling them online to fund my hobby. I realized that if I wanted to sell online, I needed to present my customs well, so I picked up a camera and taught myself photography. Eventually, I learned how to film and edit videos. After realizing how much production information was available online, I became obsessed with learning various Adobe software. If there was a tutorial that I found fascinating, I would follow along and learn how to recreate what I was watching. That small hobby I had as a kid opened the door to something much bigger. What began as a small side hustle gradually evolved into a deeper pursuit of becoming an entrepreneur in visual storytelling.
Today, I work as a multimedia creative, producing everything from music to videos, photography, and more. Rather than limiting myself to one medium, I approach projects as a creative director, executing the vision from start to finish, using whatever medium brings the idea to life. My work currently centers around athletes and brands, particularly within the world of professional wrestling, where strong visuals play a major role in defining identity.
I’ve had the opportunity to produce media for wrestling stars, including WWE Legend Ted "The Dollar Man” DiBiase, The Headbangers, Carlito, Matt Cardona, Brian Pillman Jr., Dalton Castle, Heath, and other talent connected to WWE, AEW, TNA, and OVW. Whether I’m behind the camera, in the editing room, or producing custom music, my goal is always the same: to create media that captures the true persona behind the performer and turn it into something unforgettable.
Alongside my creative work, I’ve pursued a strong foundation in business to better understand how media supports brand growth. I earned my Associate degree in Business Administration from Ivy Tech Community College, where I studied the fundamentals of marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. I am currently continuing my education at Indiana University, focusing on business and marketing while balancing my academic work with ongoing creative projects. This combination of creative experience and business education allows me to approach every project with both artistic vision and strategic purpose.
